Marie-Lisa is a Clinical Psychologist (registration no. PSY 0001388356). She is a longstanding member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a Member of The Clinical College of the APS. She is also a Member of the Anxiety Practitioners Network, an approved Clinical Psychology Supervisor with the Psychology Board Australia and a credentialed eating disorder clinician with the ANZAED.
Marie-Lisa completed her Honours in Psychology in 2007 and a Master of Clinical Psychology in 2009. Her research to date has focused on the changes in cognitive functioning during pregnancy and the sleep patterns in older adults. Marie-Lisa has additional training in EMDR and Schema Therapy and is a member of the International Society of Schema Therapy. She has extensive clinical experience providing therapy for adolescents and adults in private practice and hospital settings.
Marie-Lisa has several years experience as a clinical supervisor to Provisional Psychologists and Registered Psychologists and is a Board Approved Supervisor.
Marie-Lisa is a warm, intuitive, and empathic therapist. She is passionate about helping people improve their mental health. She believes therapy is a supportive space for clients to uncover their full potential and learn to live more meaningful and fulfilled lives. She works collaboratively with her clients to put together a plan for their treatment. She is trained in a wide variety of evidence-based therapies and will select the therapy strategies to suit the individual client needs.
